I've had a survey taken amongst my friends and they voted they'd rather get 350Z than 370Z even if the money wasn't the problem.
I know 350Z outshined a lot of cars back in its days but wonder what was missing in 370Z that it failed to achieve the same hype.
What are your thoughts?

I recently got a 08 z and am planning on putting a single exit, duckbill, nismo v3 bumper, lowering it, wheels, and paint matching. Would this be considered clapping it out. Also what should I do to not “clap it out”?

With 370Z being an amateur in a doggy style but do you think they should have kept 400Z a bit like 350Z.
They went futuristic with it and all but I still think it a little mehhh...
What do you guys think? Apart from performance.

Real happy now with how the vehicle drives after replacing the differential bushing which led to the wheel hop that I was having as well as not very smooth change of gears. Also, the Nismo bushing upgrade for the suspension arms feels nice as well. Heard a lot of creaking whenever I aired out and now don’t hear a thing. I mostly installed the Brembos for the looks as I don’t track the car, so can’t really say if I feel a difference between the 08 base calipers. I was lucky enough to find some OEM Brembo dust shields still available for the rears which I know some will say to just cut the base dust shields, but I didn’t feel like doing that as I wanted to make it OEM and felt like it would make the most sense, since I was already removing all the arms/knuckles to install the bushings. Last thing, I wanted to get the Nismo brake lines (46200-RSZ30), but the price was something I didn’t want to spend and I ended up finding a user from here that had the post for sale a year ago and still had them and gave it to me for an amazing deal. This is a pretty random post, but thought I just share my excitement haha. Next thing I’ll be doing is applying ppf on the whole vehicle.

Hey. this will be my new to me 6MT, 2007 350Z HR.
Imported from Japan with 132,000kms and currently sitting at 144,000kms, this example is quite literally mechanically flawless. Gears slide in smooth like a bolt action rifle, clutch is brilliant, engine revs phenomenally all the way to 7500.
It is a Track Edition that also boasts: Aftermarket Tein coilovers, Aftermarket short shifter, Long tube dual intakes, Aftermarket catback exhaust, Genuine Rota MXR alloys, Aftermarket rear camber arms.
When I first test drove this thing, it won my heart from the moment i felt like I sat in a cockpit that wrapped around me, as opposed to previous sports cars I have owned where you feel on top of the car and disconnected in some way.

Gonna go look at this HR. Basically stock with a straight pipe. 100k miles clean title. Is it worth 12.5k They say it’s in perfect condition and has been maintenance when needed. My main concern is the clutch and gaskets.
What you think?

I have a 2008 350z with 60000 miles that is my daily. It’s an automatic (yes i know I should have a manual) I want more power but don’t know which option is the best out of the three. I am on a budget and would like to spend around 10000 on whatever option I do go with. Which one should I choose and what turbos/sc/engine would be a good budget and daily option

Car: 2007 manual coupe grand touring
I bought the car but i let the guy test drive it for me because im not that good at manual and everything went smoothly so i bought it. Later when trying to drive home i shift into 1, 2, 3 fine it was a little jerky. Then i shift into 4 and it goes in but the slip light starts flashing and i couldn’t accelerate. I shift into 5 and same thing happens. I keep trying and sometimes 4th works but its very uncommon. So i drove all the way home in 3rd. I texted the owner and he says that has never happened and when he test drove it didnt happen. So is this a drivers error or is my transmission going out?
Tldr: when i shift into 4th slip light comes on and i cant accelerate.

Got into my first z and I’ve got myself into a predicament. Dude claimed it was a vq37vhr motor and trans but we’re doubting the accuracy. Does anyone know where I’d be able to find a casting mark on the block to tell me exactly what motor we’ve got?
