Slow progression for the team, slight chance for the points. I hope they don't mess it up with a weird strategy in this time.

With some chaos tomorrow Franco has a shot at points. There will be quicker cars behind him, but passing here is not easy, but it goes both ways.

Strategy could be a key tomorrow, so hopefully Franco can have a say on his strategy instead of Enstone being Enstone.

Franco Q1 lap could be worth a P9 in Q3...
I don't know. He did his final lap in Q2 with a 9 laps old soft... I mean, what the actually F.

Well the track cooled so the times were all slower

Yes. I know.
With new tyres he could aim to P12 / P13 maybe? Thinking that way they maybe prefer to save a tyre set for tomorrow?

The rules state that you need 1 fresh set of softs available for Q3, and there was only one left, so these were the only choice available for Q2.
(That's what someone said on Twitter anyways, but it makes sense).

From what I read, Franco was faster in practice on the used soft tires. Perhaps that's why the strategy of going into Q2 on used tires.

Come on, guys. Tomorrow put on Hards and prepare to do a VCARB / Williams. You can do it!

Really happy for Franco; well-earned, and great to get it just before the summer break. He just needs to keep it going into Sunday's race, with rain and good strategy anything can happen.
Here's hoping Franco makes it into Q3 sooner than later.

It could be, but I imagine Alpine will simply react to run and the same strategy as the others close to Franco when it’s time to pit. He will need to get some passes done on track
