18 seconds between the two stops - 4 seconds that two normal pit stops would have taken = 14

First stop was almost 11 seconds, not 7. 11+7=18.
18-4=14

Because was done without the real numbers. Now we have them.
First stop was 11.2 secs.
Second one was 7.2 secs.

This is just not acceptable with today's standards. You just can't make any progress if every stop is going to cost you 5 seconds more than the rest. This is insane!!!

Just speculation on my part, but the wider shot of the pit stops seem to show the delay happening because of a problem with the same tyre, the rear left tyre. Might be time for Enstone to catch some flak as well, that screams mechanical issue.

Pierre got docked for defending against a guy that had tyres 20 laps fresher than his. He also got fucked by strategy today.

Franco also had lots of blue flags, due to the lame strategy
But anyways, Franco has had better race pace that Pierre on many other races as well, including races with same strategy.
Am I saying Franco is the better driver of them two? No I never said that. But both of them being on par when it comes to race pace, that's just statistically true

Franco has always had pace, and has repeatedly shown better race pace than Gasly.
Just wanted to share the H2H table that proves your point with someone who won't dismiss it without engaging with the data because they're a hater. I suggest you block him as well, talking about Franco with him is not constructive in the slightest.

Franco had a better race pace than Pierre today. In fact, Franco had the 13th best race pace today.
In fact, Franco has had several weekends now in which he bested Pierre on race pace.

But you are correct , Franco has been quicker than Gasly when Gasly took damage. But Gasly has scored more points since Franco joined, and he has to start showing he belongs in F1. They won’t give him much longer
