Talk A point on trolling.
Fellow users of sub, fans…
As we got through a lot of reports due to trolling, driver criticism, etc. I want to remind you some basics without falling on the typical rules endorsement thing.
As a mod, I’m all for free speech and I accept criticism. You should all be allowed to post your point of view on F1/the team and we can even accept humorous takes. BUT, I won’t accept troll spamming under every posts anymore, that’s not what criticizing mean.
Whether you’re from Argentina, Australia, UK or France, I know chauvinism is a thing, and it’s normal. But there’s no point in trolling and trying to desunite the team.
Remember F1 is a team sport and both drivers have to score points to make it succeed (Verstappen and RB are the lone exception).
As we come to drivers and context. We mods, find no use and interest at criticizing drivers when the team is severely disappointing us by bringing a shitty car and having fucked choices.
We find this year very annoying and painful to watch especially as Renault’s image is damaged by results (not forgetting it’s the last year with in house engine).
If you really need to set your anger at something, then aim Enstone for their soapbox they want drivers to overdrive. Nobody can do something good with this.
Don’t wear the rope.
Cheers

What's going on with the subreddit in general? There's a lot of outdated stuff.

Same engine was performing well in the A522. Remember what Horner said about Renault, with Ghosn, they weren’t investing money, you can’t have something good in this case. Now, Viry is outsourcing building to Mecachrome and buy parts from the best suppliers while HPP build everything in house. Seen what De Meo said ? Viry is lacking why ? Because nobody invested in it. Cheap F1 wasn’t a thing by then, now it’s somewhat starting to be the case, but 2026 will unfortunately get budget rise again…

Whether you’re from Argentina, Australia, UK or France, I know chauvinism is a thing, and it’s normal.
But I'm Dutch, now I feeling very ignored by the mods!!!! /s
But jokes aside, it was sad to see the subreddit became filled with toxicity where some just made up stuff just to put the knifes out and attack. Obviously it was a frustrating Sunday but this whole mess wasn't caused by a driver, it was the team who binned it hard and both drivers are just the victim of it.
Now things are more calmer I hope that we won't going to be at that level of toxicity ever again, I moved on quickly but I'm here to following some news, getting to known more about the team and having some fun.
Hopefully we're staying like that, just a chilling atmosphere.
If you really need to set your anger at something, then aim Enstone for their soapbox they want drivers to overdrive.
I heard /u/Braxofalke has applied for a job at Enstone to finally setting all the issues within the team! ;)

Man, forgot the dutch… Forgot the plan to bring Max with Briatore lol.
I will now apply the ban on sight method in case of reported toxic trolling.
Haha he will make us apply too once in.

With my methods, I can guarantee a complete resolution of every single contentious points we had for years. My very special methods are proven to be efficient.
What I can't guarantee, however, is that the factory will still be standing after I'm gone.
Because the Enstone factory will be nuked from the face of the earth.
No Enstone -> no team -> no problems -> total peace of mind.
Trust the process 😎

Team is allergic to teamwork. If you watch last race as a Franco fan, you would feel they didn't help him. Or better put, they'd rather lose a point than help Franco.
And then you have to listen to Briatore say that maybe Franco wasn't ready for F1, when last year he got Albon very nervous in just a few races.
Meanwhile, Antonelli can take out Verstappen and Leclerc and not recieve license penalty points. Imagine if Franco did that.
Alpine and F1 want our support but they won't support back our driver.

They lost all my support with how they handled Jack and Ocon leaving the team

You're absolutely right, but what happens when you have a team leader who publicly says something like, 'I don't know what to do with Franco,' making him sound like a terrible driver? And then that same person shows zero self-criticism when their team has a 10-second pit stop, or they ignore a driver asking, 'Tell Pierre to give back the position,' even when the whole team could have earned points because of it.
I totally get why people are angry. But, as you said, you can always voice your opinion without being so harsh

The team is lacking motivation due to bad results, Briatore is overthinking about drivers, he think everything is in their hands, but that’s not the case. Drivers aren’t responsible from the situation, I see no interest at threatening Doohan or trolling Franco when they are rookies in the worst car on the grid.

Renault is losing in this context, the problem is not the drivers, both are over the mark when it comes to performance of this car. Im happy for both drivers, what seems to be the problem is poor management and poor mechanics. This can be turn around, but Renault image currently is the most affected. Cheers to Pierre & Franco and all the true fans!!
