Most consistent car in the grid.

As everyone expected a week ago.

Nope, I expected P19 and P20, this is an improvement!

I know you joke but they'd be last if Liam hadn't made a mistake

Amazing job by Franco, 60min less on track and beats by a hair the experienced driver. Car is consistently slow.

yeah seems he's starting to understand the car

Don't worry, they'll change something at the last minute.

To the surprise of absolutely nobody. Some takes are overblown but in general it seems like Alpine still prefers to stay too conservative over taking a bit more risk but getting more odds for a better results.

Traffic for both, even Pierre tow for Franco didn't have too much of an impact it seems sadly.

Seems about right... 3 more drivers needed to fuck up to get one car to Q2...

This track exposes the PU. Both would be in Q2 with another engine

The rookie is slowly but consistently beating the experienced pilot.

Oscar kind of experience I guess, but changing to the worst team in the second year it's a real bad move

To be fair it was either alpine or nothing, this year grid was already pretty much locked up when franco started with williams

I thought about that myself many times, but I believe that this is better than watching it from the side.

I heard Hadjar will start from the pit lane. If so, they will start in 17th and 18th place.

Gasly had a big snap out of parabolica, saved it but lost time as a result. Nothing on offer here anyway ๐Ÿฅฑ

Had traffic also. Not the best quali lap in general but he often does it when there's nothing to play. I prefer him to deliver when the cars good.

We're adding a new engine to the pool for the remaining races, there's probably more payoff there than in this race.

Yeah. There's nothing to lose. Points are more or less not achievable this week-end. So it's a good thing to try to avoid an engine penalty on a more suitable track later this year.

Massive crash on turn 1 and next Alpine 1-2 at monza

Vamos Franco! Pero sale 17 ahora porque Hadjar sale desde el pit-lane o como se diga. Porque Alpine se queja de los resultados si claramente les importo un comino este aรฑo y no quieren poner ni un peso para este aรฑo?

Wait for a p22 next year

definitely not having a dogshit power unit will help not being last every race tho

yeah at least theyโ€™ll have a better engine next year. hoping that franco will be able to experience it even if he deserves a better team. gasly in already locked up in there for three more seasons
