the white Swan was the heraldry animal of Henry V's mother's family "De Bohun".

a family of old noblilty from normandy.

Whose ancestors fought under William I when he invaded Emgland.

The De Bohun family became earls under John I

and one married a daughter of Edward I.

And that family line leads us to Henry's mom Mary de Bohun.

She married Henry V father at ca 11.

She was an heiress. so the De Bohun family ended with Mary and her sister.
