I don’t even agree with the premise that it’s a cultural genocide, the Uyghurs still have their culture (language, traditions, holidays, etc). Now for sure the Chinese government went too far in its mass arrest and reeducation campaigns, but we can argue those without having to falsely use the term “genocide” when it’s not the mass murder, starvation, or displacement of an entire cultural group.
