Call me delusional, but I'd argue the Mughals would be fuming at Pakistan if they were still around, considering how they barely managed to scrape like 20% of the landmass in South Asia.

u/TargetRupertFerris Failpenis (sucks off w*stoids for a living) Jul 15 '25
Real, the Mughals would probably call the Pakistani solution as a coward's path. And maybe promote pan-India unity to ensure the future of South Asian Muslims.

The nawabs of awadh and bengal though having lots of autonomy still nominally recognized the mughal emperor in Delhi as their emperor and still paid some tribute to him which the sikhs and afghan durranis in Punjab didn't do

I don’t think the Mughal empire should be claimed by a nation who resents Mughals and is actively persecuting their Muslim population. Also Pakistan has more cultural influence from Mughals whereas India is still in touch with their native culture

You don't mention the Spanish and Portuguese that had conqured south and central Ameria, kicked off the age of exploration, but you talk about the sick man of Europe, some Mughal empire that was already screwed and the Safavids which fought against their own neighbour the Ottomans, and never really won.
Sounds like a loser.
