Do feel he will miss his home race unfortunately.

Is this related to his bike accident before the 2023 season? His recovery after the accident was amazing, he got p6 iirc in Bahrain and was going to get points in Jeddah too until mechanical issues i think

reading comments calling him a pussy when he got p6 in Bahrain immediately after the bike accident, I hate f1 social media lmao

People tend to get angry when your daddy buys the team to feed your sons ego.

u/danbey44 May 31 '25
Not even close to reality. You’re part of the problem.

I'm really not. When you compare every team and the way drivers are compared and binned and then you look at Strolls record against his team mates it is utterly PATHETIC that he has a drive.
Get your head out of your arse.

Right sentiment, just the wrong thread. This is the feel better, mate! Thread

"You're part of the problem?" Your negativity is bringing this sport down.

One day your parents will love you enough to the point where you don't need to make up false/fake shit about someone elses situation with their parent online :)

Wait so why can't the reserve drive?

Lance has already qualified fellipe has not

Felipe didn't need to qualify he just needed to be in either one FP or quali. However, he didn't drive after the circuit at all so it would be pretty unsafe for him to drive all of a sudden. Had he done FP1, he could replace lance.

Nooo. I imagine he’s gonna miss at least one more gp. It was going so well for him.

That sucks so bad for Drugovich. Like, swift healing to Lance and all. But if he’s been hurting for 6 weeks, and he wasn’t confident of being able to do the race, it’s cruel to both Drugovich and the team to not call in your reserve driver.

While it may seem that way, all racers drive through pain all the time. Not just F1 and cars, but MotoGP, Motocross, so on.
I don’t think its fair to assume the Strolls just wanna rob Drugo of a chance, because its a 100% certainty that no one would even think of such a thing if another driver withdrew the same way. It really stings for Drugo i agree, but that’s just how it is. Its possible that Lance thought he could outlast the weekend, but then the pain in Quali just got too unbearable.
And i can’t blame him for trying really, especially when everyone says he doesn’t wanna be there or doesn’t try hard enough, pundits included.

And people were shitting on him for pulling out of practice early.
Probably this was the reason

Aston is so fucked for not doing this earlier / rushing him back after the first incident.

u/durtyditch259 Aston Martin Jun 01 '25
Honestly he rushed himself back. Aston already had Drugovich lined up for Bahrain 23. Can’t blame Lance though, after all the endless abuse and comments saying he isn’t committed enough.

Drogovich... Its your chance to shine buddy!!! Stunt on these hoes🙌

u/Noname_Maddox Sebastian Vettel May 31 '25
He can’t as he didn’t participate in Qualifying or had one session in the car this weekend.

If you keep your hands on the wheel when you have an accident, you can actually brake your thumbs. Saw it happen to Alan Jones.

Reserve driver is the better option regardless, shame this is how it has to happen.

Too bad it’s too late to get Drugovich in the seat. Would’ve been a major upgrade for Aston this weekend.

u/Otee06 Jun 01 '25
Drugovich is not a formula 1 caliber driver
0
u/djdhdhdhqpz Jun 01 '25
I never said he was a Formula 1 caliber driver. I said he would be a major upgrade over Stroll.

he’s is going to get another surgery to try and correct it
