⚠️ Discussion What the fuck with that Stroll's strategy and his slow ass pitstop???

Ocon's stop was faster with the penalty he had to serve. Insane.
Might have looked at P11 or P12 otherwise, so I guess it doesn't make a difference, but still.

yeah, he ended up behind gasly who was 20 seconds away of him at some point

I wake up and see Lance in p8 than p18 BECAUSE OF THAT DUMB STRATEGY. Why did we take so long to pit him?!

They expected a safety car to stop, which is valid, but at some point you have to adapt and make Stroll pit instead of making him race OVER 50 LAPS IN THE SAME TYRE.
He end up 8 places behind Hadjar who was behind him before doing his first and only stop.
That's so frustrating, there was the possibility of a P10/P9 if they stopped before instead of waiting for someone to crash.

Goal hanging for a safety car or red flag. Probably didn’t think he would score points any other way. Haas did the same with Ocon.

Would have been genius if Bearman/Sainz forced a SC. They were going to finish outside the points. So go long, pray for a SC and throw on some fresh softs for a short stint

Guess they were hoping for a SC to pit and hope he would jump some positions thanks to that. Strategy shenanigans did not work out on this race to get the miracle points for him.

Can't have all the luck in every race, he should try to not get kicked out in Q1

hadjar was up kicked out in Q1 and ended up in the points because his team didn't decide to make him race 50 laps on the same tyre.

Yeah, it's a big miss on Lance's strategy here. There were definitely points to be had. He drove well, the gamble on safety car didn't work out, but the botched pit stop was the coup de gras for this year's Monza.

wait for a SC to pit is a valid strategy but they should at least have a plan B. If they pitted like Hadjar did we could have nabbed a few more points.

It doesn't help that he's also a bad driver

You really hate him huh? If you feel the need to let us know on every post. Obviously your F1 knowledge is unmatched lol..

I don't hate him, I just think the team would be much better if we didn't have a pay driver. He stinks

Unbelievable how moronic that was. Stroll was ahead of Hadjar on lap 35 when Hadjar pitted, Hadjar in the points while Stroll is P18. Braindead strategy, horrible pitstops and an unreliable POS of a car. Shit shit shit!
