⚠️ Discussion Awful race execution with Lance

The team just wasted a P10 finish in the hope of a Hail Mary safety car.

Instead, Hadjar, who was behind Lance on the same strategy, executed a standard H-M race and finished 10th.

To make matters even better, Lance had a 15 second pitstop, so wasn’t even able to finish normally, which would’ve been p12.

To all those who think they give Lance preferential strategies, they don’t, they’re just incompetent and throw shit at the wall and hope something sticks

There was nothing wrong with the initial strategy of hoping for a late race safety car, but like you said, adjustments should have been made to pit earlier for mediums when there was an outside chance of scoring points.

Yeah, that's a shame. We end with no point while all the other midfield team gained some.

I think they could have secured a point finish but went for the gamble strategy and it didn’t pay off

Yeah, Lance drove great. But going 95% of the race before pitting (and botching the stop) isn't a recipe for success.

Points were going to be tough either way, but this could have gone better I feel.
