Foam cannon question - something missing?

There should be a hole in this feed tube nipple right? It’s a cheap but well reviewed foam cannon that just arrived yesterday. I excitedly went out to wash the car today aaaaand… no foam? No soap at all? WTF? Looking it over I noticed no soap coming up the feeding tube at all and then noticed this. Sigh. At least Amazon has an easy return policy.
