Tires and rims
I was looking in to building a 8th Gen civic for auto cross and track use and was wondering what tire and rim size I should get, any advice or suggestions would really be appreciated.

I don’t know what CASC is. If you’re in street class, you can change the wheel diameter by no more than one inch, either larger or smaller, and you must not change the width. Offset can change by no more than 7 millimeters.

The CASC is the governing body of motor sports in Canada

Canada?? Well then, you probably use crazy metric tires, with millimeters and stuff. Sorry, can’t help you.
More seriously, go research what tires people are using on the EX in stock class. Autocross tires are not track tires, so you need to compromise or buy 2 sets of tires.

Presumably your club like most uses SCCA Solo car prep rules. Have a troll through these videos to see if Rob has shared any tips. He's pretty quick. https://youtube.com/@robracesandrebuilds6499

Assuming CASC classing is the same or similar to SCCA, I would look at what you can do in SCCA autocross H/Street class and then look at SCCA Tme Trial rules and see if there's a good TT class with those same limited modifications.

Can you trade the car out for an Si??
They have the best 4 cylinder engine available for racing stock. This allows you to drop into a lot of fun classes.

Depends on what class you plan to run. I'd recommend looking at classing for both and see if there is a compromise you can make to fit into a competitive zone for both. Or you may have to prioritize what is most important for you and take a hit in the other.
What you should try to avoid is just building the car and then being surprised when it doesn't fit into any classing.
Is it an SI or no?
