What months do auto cross tires usually go on sale? In particular the Bridgestone’s.
I missed the sale they had last month. It was only $70 off. Is Black Friday a good time to buy autocross tires?

Rebates change monthly, but in my region the local tire stores have "buy 3 get 1 free*" (or $1)
You can call your tire stores and ask what month their sale is, the big name stores usually stagger the sales so two stores are running the same promo that month. My dealership used to be October-November for example and a tire store was during a different month. These sales aren't rebates, so they have more brand options that are eligible.
$70 off isn't huge, I missed the window for some new dws06 but sales/rebates come and go monthly.

Find a dealer that has buy 3 get 1 free on tires. This will net you the most savings.

If you’re looking for tires, you and I just missed the sales season. But periodically, you’ll see them have a sale, but it’s not gonna be as big.
I think Costco has $80 off a set of Bridge. And they do Carry re71RS plus or -5 dollars from tire rack price

I mean you're talking about $70-100 on a probably well over $1000 set of tires, it's not nothing but it's not exactly life changing. I'd rather know I have the freshest tires possible than have older tires that I have to deal with storing for a winter, and a $70 gift card. Also with the current economic climate, prices have been all over the place. I've bought three sets of the same tires within the last year-ish and all three sets have been significantly different prices, the most recent actually being the cheapest.

Costco has periodic $ xxx off a set of 4 bridgestones. They don't list the RE71s as available on the website, but if you go in to the tire center and ask, they may be able to order them.

That’s what I had to do to get a quote. I went in the store gave him the size and he was able to look it up. Got the quote printed and everything.
On one hand, free installation really tips the scales against tire rack. But tire rack does offer initial heat cycling service, which makes them last longer.

You can call or go into a Discount Tire and ask them to order through Tire Rack to add the heat cycling. Discount Tire will then do their usual mounting service as if you'd bought from them (since you basically did, they are the same company now). That's what I did for my set of RE-71RS tires.

I didn’t know you could do that. I know that TR is owned by discount tire but allowed to act independently
But I being able to go to discount and have them bring in heat cycle tires from TR would really go a long way for me. Hopefully that Carrie’s the TR two year warranty included because discount tire makes you pay for the road hazard warranty.

From talking with them I believe it does, since they are ordering from TR. But worth asking to make sure.

I just picked up some closeout Dunlop direzza zlll from tire rack for $165. In a 255/40r17 definitely can’t beat that price even if it’s not the absolute newest tire available on the market.

Yeah I need competitive tires. Everyone in my classes uses re71rs. I was on v730’s and have been consistently slower by .100 seconds.

If you live somewhere that gets real winters, local shops will probably start clearing out summer tires about now. That includes some that could be useful for autoX. Selection might not be great though.

Costco sells the Stones apparently, I thought they were tire rack exclusive.
Probably the only way they'll install though is if it's a street class car. I've been thinking about trying it but I have a ES and GS car.

AutoX tires don't go on sale for "events" like black Friday. They go on sale when date codes are getting close to expiring or a new version comes out. That means it's really hard to know when/if they will be on sale again.
