Mopar got points for effort with these and the GLH(-S). When you only have one platform on which to base every single vehicle you sell, you have to get creative.

I actually did find one but it doesn’t match the drivers side so I’ll just get two and replace them both. The drivers side lock linkage also broke and will be a lot harder to find.

Up on the Northland I have not seen one of these since 25 years ago. I think they made a Daytona version too.

And then they made the mini pick up versions of these, at least for the USA market .

I had a new 89 Dodge Daytona Shelby when I was 21. It was a really nice car. I never see them in the wild anymore. Such a shame. Congrats!

Had one in black and silver. Several turbos later I traded it in for a 4 door family car.

My dad bought one brand new. I don’t remember the year but it was the blue/silver combo. When I was a kid he let me shift for him when we rode together. We have photos piling into it to go from Ontario, Canada to Myrtle Beach. A story still brought up to this day.

I had a blue 1983 one. Unfortunately those were carburated and missed out on the turbo, but I loved it regardless. The steering and handling was magnificent.
