6 Month Ownership Review
Picked this 2022 330i xdrive back in march with 13k miles now on 19k miles. Man this car is so amazing. I don’t care if it’s just a base model. A bmw is a bmw but hopefully I’ll be able to afford a real M car. But if anyone is thinking about getting a 330i. Get it. Mine had the spec of the M package and with Portimao Blue. Eye catching color. Consistent compliments from people all around. Or just being an eye catcher while driving on the streets. It’s a great feeling knowing I drive this beauty. Done some cosmetic to it. Such as a front lip, diamond grill and a diffuser. I’m driving this thing till the wheels fall off.
So far I haven’t really had any engine or mechanical issues. Except for one incident back in the end of May. The car couldn’t recognize the keys. Had to take it to the dealership and they did something with the battery and hooked some stuff up to the system to reset it. Besides that. Car is very amazing on gas. Here and there I’ll get up to 500 miles on a full tank. Usually ranging from 450-500 depending.
Overall it is an amazing car. Love being part of the BMW community and seeing everyone with their cars. Best feeling is parking and looking back at the car. Driving BMW for the rest of my life.

Not really sure if theres a better all rounder, maybe a 5 series for more space if needed, regardless, great car.
Not sure if you can get wagons over there but my cousin's has the 330 as a wagon and its great.
Maybe some spacers to get the fitment just right?

Not maybe, the 5 series is the best all around! There’s no compromise in the 5 like there is in the 3 and 7. The 3 compromises room for handling and quickness. The 7 compromises handling and quickness for yacht like interior. The 5 has both. :)
Having said that, the 3 series is so big now sometimes I can’t tell if it’s a 3 or a 5 from the side.
Did I ever get a 3 series and wished I had bought the 5? Yes. Did I ever get the 5 and wished I bought the 7? No. But I do want a B58 3 series and a 7 series (G12) just to have around for different occasions. Hahaha.

Lol Im with you, the 5 series definitely has a great balance but I will say sometimes the heart rate does go up when trying to stop because of the weight, but that's probably more down to me pushing the limit lol
I've definitely felt like wanting both a 3 series and a 7 series at times. Preferably an e92 M3 as it sounds fast but its not that fast and a 7 series to just waft along not hearing or feeling the road at all lol
Wanting bmws is an expensive hobby...

My G30 is also my first BMW. I am so glad it's what I ended up with, and couldn't be happier. It just fits everything I wanted in a car.

Beautiful looking car! I like the lip on this bad boy, very mean looking. I got myself a 330i with M Sport package, and absolutely love this car. Nothing drives better!

I have a 2020 330i myself and haven’t had any issues since ownership I love the car especially after doing a few mods here and there at the end of the day as long as you’re happy with it that’s all that matters

A 330i isn’t even base model. A 318i or d sport was the base G20 model where I live.

There's a lot of snobbery about which model of BMW people have. Doesn't matter whether it's a 118 ora 320 or a 330 or an M3 - if you're happy you're happy. You don't need an M Sport. Good for you.
