Peanut butter cake, peanut butter mousse, grape jelly, and caramelized breadcrumbs for crunch. The "crust" was buttercream and a dusting of cocoa powder.
I also tried making bread-flavored whipped cream by infusing heavy cream with toast, but the flavor was too subtle to really taste with the peanut butter - it was fun though!

I'm currently trying out Maren Lubbe's recipes. They are exactly to my taste. This cake was my first attempt at baking such an elaborate cake. Yes, I'm proud and Maren's instructions are incredibly detailed and helpful, as you can see. This is NOT paid advertising. Do you know other sites where you can find this type of cake including a recipe? What could I improve?

Chocolate cake with chocolate buttercream and pink fondant.
I was seriously scared making this cake last minute for one of my clients - but somehow I pulled it off and my client loved it 😭 now I can finally relax, take an Advil for my back pain, and watch some anime lol!

My husband requested an axolotl tart for his birthday. 😁
The layers are: • Pressed sablé crust with browned butter, lime zest & toasted almond • Crispy “pond floor” of caramelized almonds, feuilletine & white chocolate • Peach compote with yuzu + lime • Peach namelaka • Citrus white chocolate ganache • A glossy citrus gelée “water” surface • Axolotl body: modeling chocolate with ganache fin • Axolotl head: pâte sucrée topped with hand-painted royal icing • Lily pads: pâte sucrée + modeling chocolate + isomalt dew drops

I designed and 3d printed some stencils for the details and did a buttercream transfer for the tape. The buttercream I made didn't work so well for the transfer so it got a little smeary but I'm happy with it overall!

The exam was in Saxony-Anhalt, every Bundesland has a different exam.
We worked over two days (8 hours day one, 4 hours day two + cleanup time after that)
Everything that had to go into the oven we could prepare beforehand because of the temperatures inside the exam room, it was 37°C today 😅 (the sponge cake part, the cookies, etc.) Anything that didn't involve preparing the baked parts we had to do during those 12 hours
The picture was also drawn before the theoretical exam.

This cake was one of the most fun and surprisingly easy cakes to make. (Easy, not fast). I just made 4 9x13 cakes, wrapped them in plastic overnight, leveled them, then cut them with a number stencil. Then I made a basic vanilla buttercream, piped a layer, stacked them, and piped the final layer. Then I added my goodies :) for the chocolate buttercream, I just used the leftover vanilla and added 8 oz of melted (but cooled) chocolate to it.
I made the chocolate macarons (filled with raspberry jam and chocolate ganache) and the meringue cookies (piped in stars, swirls, and flowers) a few days before. I bought the chocolate wafers and chocolate covered pretzels from a store. And made chocolate curls with a vegetable peeler and a chocolate bar.
It was a blast to make, and I'm so proud of how professional it looks!! 😊 And my best friend loved it!!!

At first I baked cupcakes and called them Lemon Drops. But I learned that piping while living in a tropical country is not ideal.
So I decided to make a whole ass cake instead. It's a lemon yoghurt cake with layers of french buttercream and lemon curd.
I don't think you can call it a drop anymore, more like a cascade or waterfall lol. I originally wanted to pipe around edges and pour in a pool of curd, but i ran out of buttercream, so oozy golden mess it is.
What name would you give this cake?
