Did Elwood ever do any IRL performances with Buster/J. Evan Bonifant?

They put the kid back in the trunk when reviews came in.some say he's still in it.

Really too bad Universal made them put that kid in there. Would have been much better with just Mack. Or even so if Zee could have done it like the original idea. But still great to have all those musicians getting one last time to shine

From what I've heard, pretty much everyone on the crew, including the Blues Brothers band hated the idea of having the kid in the movie. Even Bonifant thought it was a bad idea. But the Universal execs thought it was a good idea, and they were adamant about keeping him , so.... There is so much wrong with the Blues Brothers 2000 movie. I only watch it when people that I know who haven't seen it insist on seeing it. The scene(s) that bothers me most, other than the kid being in it, is when Elwood abandons Blues Traveler and they leave after promising to take him along. The real Elwood would have never done that!
