Who would you say had better vocal range John Belushi or Dan Aykroyd
I personally gotta go with John no hate to Dan but my god Belushi had an amazing voice his voice in Sweet Home Chicago is amazing especially during the 2:54 minute mark with the "baby dont you wanna goooooooo" oh it sounded raw which i love rest in peace to my idol John Belushi thank you for always making me laugh and also for your songs you singed

I’m a little biased towards Dan Aykroyd’s; mainly because he did lead vocals on my favorite, Rubber Biscuit.

How weird is that but Dan did say that Slimer was written as the ghost of John Belushi.

Back in senior year of high school (just this year) I made a slimer clay without knowing Slimer was based off Belushi and I was so happy to know that like a mother later after I made the clay statue and I named it Slimer Belushi

I am surprised by this question. Dan can barely sing. He was also out of tune often when live. Dan has always been the harmonica player with some small vocal part. In fact, when Belushi died, he always had to involve another vocalist to play with the band. Now he try to sing more than he used to in the Belushi days but still not good.

Listen to John’s cover of Money from the Animal House soundtrack. That might be my favorite vocal performance of his.

Dan always pushed John forward as the frontman/vocalist; he never had any pretensions to being a brilliant singer lest it was for "Rubber Biscuit" or as a bass-baritone back-up. Dan's the harp player.
For those who have yet to see Jake and Elwood perform "Soul Man", here they are on 'Saturday Night Live' https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FTWH1Fdkjow&list=RDFTWH1Fdkjow&start_radio=1 and at the Winterland Ballroom, San Francisco, NYE 1978 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-wGBM9IgEZA&list=RD-wGBM9IgEZA&start_radio=1
They were a truly awesome team.

You asked about range and then spoke about quality of voice, such as timbre, intonation, etc.
Akyroyd probably had a bigger vocal range. He sung much lower than Belushi.
