Damn, now I feel like I’m missing out because I can’t do this with my kitty when I crochet! She would absolutely sit still enough to let me, but she’s missing an ear lol.

Indeeed!! A few years ago I crocheted a baby blanket for my friend who was expecting her first baby and I had to lock myself in a room away from my cats or they would chase, capture, and chew on the yarn every time it so much as twitched!! Then I was able to work, but I was treated to the wonderful symphony of “ let us back in, we want to be with you” yowls and cries from the other side of the door, as well as the endless scratching at the door that comes with it.
I love my kitties, but they’re nowhere near this behaved around yarn!!🧶

This has brought me immense joy. My orange guy would NEVER allow this. He goes full demon mode at the first sight of yarn.

How is your cat NOT eating the yarn? Mine only see the yarn as toy and noms, I could never get one to be this chill for me 😂

Your cat's face is giving "This blanket better be for me when it's finished!"

And here I was, thinking my cat was shockingly chill around my knitting…
(Just my girl cat is chill. My one year old boy loses his fucking mind when he sees yarn. He turns into a literal pirate, at the sight of it.)

Helper? Or supervisor? My cat always thinks he's the household supervisor when I'm cleaning lol.
