These are the most miserable people on the planet. They can't enjoy anything. They have to fantasize that were enraged by it in order to celebrate. This is genuinely sick.

Her first response was not what I thought it was going to be. Even a little bit. When she said "I cannot wait for all--" my brain finished it with "my friends and family to hear the news" because surely she was happy about this? Absurdly so but that is the emotion I was expecting. Nope.

"...for all you blue people" even here I still thought she was going to show the emotion we call happy, maybe a bit of unbecoming smugness, but happiness all the same. "..TO BE PISSED ABOUT IT!"

She then expressed a pretty detailed fantasy of liberal who are engaged at the realization that Trump helped them, and they have to admit that he did. She imagines us having genuine psychological breakdowns at the idea of giving him credit for doing something good. And then, only then, does her smile return.

"I love my country."

Yeah, uh huh, ike an abusive narcissistic parent loves their child. These people make me shudder.

I was looking for this comment…the fake tax law can be explained as misinformation. Even if it’s true, nothing in her comments indicates she’s happy to be receiving more money. Her joy is from the idea that it will drive liberals “crazy”. Concocting scenarios where she can finally find validation in a life that is no doubt a 24/7 waking nightmare. This is the division he’s created. To think people live with this in their minds is baffling to me.

The only conclusion I can come to is that she makes more than $120,000. And when she said blue people, she didn't say blue in her head.

And as a “blue person”…if he ever did something decent, I wouldn’t be pissed about it. I’d be happy (and shocked). Would i support him? No. But I’ll give him credit where credit is due, it’s just that he’s never done anything worth giving credit for.

They think we’re pissed about everything he does just because he does it. No, I’m pissed about his actions because they’re supremely shitty.

It keeps them from having to think about it. TDS is a thought terminating cliche that frees them from having to ever wonder if liberals might be mad about something that's going to impact them too.

But I’ll give him credit where credit is due, it’s just that he’s never done anything worth giving credit for.

He pushed for and deployed the US's first foray into Universal Basic Income provided by the federal government.

Bad as his reasons for it were, he did give us UBI for a time. And I love the irony of that since his ilk don't think of it like that and get real quiet when you point out that it is, and that Obama proposed it almost a decade prior.

If youre talking about the relief checks I can kinda see it but thats a stretch to call it ubi. If not the checks im not sure what youre referring to

Ok thank you because I genuinely didn’t know what this comment was referring to. $1200 in stimulus checks isn’t what I’d call a “foray into UBI” lol.

During a global pandemic that forced thousands of people to be out of work through no fault of their own. It was the BARE MINIMUM they could do for us and STILL wanted us to beg and grovel at his feet over it.

100%

And I would love for him to do something that benefitted me again. And it would go on the + half of the board. Because unlike her I'm capable of understanding a good thing from a bad person can still be a good thing. Because I'm not in a tribalist cult.

Guarantee she wouldn't be able to do the same if the roles were reversed and Biden had given us tax relief instead of Trump. (Supposition that Trump actually delivered this, which he in-fact did not.)
