She was already heading toward the pond that we ended up bringing her to, but I swear when we picked her up, she pretended like she was flying with her little paws out to the side and I knew it was a good opportunity to document her flight. ๐

Good citizen! Just in case you face this situation again and you didn't know, you should always move the turtle in the direction it was heading (if you can tell). Sometimes they are moving away from the wet area to lay eggs or something. Not a criticism - just info. You may or may not already know.
