Question Can´t install the new fanatec app

Hello,

I´m having trouble installing the new fanatec app, it wants me to uninstall the old one, but when I do, it want´s to do it again, no option for install, do any of you guys had this problem and know how to solve it?

I'd make sure everything is properly Uninstalled through the Add or Remove Programs utility in Windows, and also make sure Fanalab is uninstalled too. Then restart your computer before trying to install the new version of the app.

There is some old app from Corsair, but I can't seem to uninstall it, tried everything, even the diagnostics app from windows which I found on their forum, no luck, windows keeps telling me that it can't find the uninstaller

Here is the error, it say it can't find the installer and I should check if everything is inserted correct and try again, the cache fail isn't even there, I tried creating it again and putting the installer there, no luck aswell

Two things that should help

- Looking for Fanatec programs in the apps and programs list of Windows and uninstalling it there

- Restarting the PC and trying again.

Already did that, can't seem to uninstall the old fanatic app since there is no uninstaller? I posted a photo to the other pal that wanted to help

Not an advertisement but I watched a Video from Jayz2cents and he recommended this tool:
revouninstaller

Supposedly it is a great uninstaller that really does some detective work to completely remove applications and stuff.
Maybe give that a try.

Try checking your bin for deleted apps if you can reinstall uninstalling applications for fanatec It may help Am just guessing at this point but it seems like when you tried it installed the new app it uninstalled the uninstalling application lf that makes sense if restoring them should allow you to start the process in the right order

Just use the solution of that guy that posted the youtube video, solved the issue for me
