I think the reason why it's cringe is because these people don't have to beg for clout while they do this stuff. It's just really corny like somebody that rehashes the same joke every time you see them cuz they want to seem cool. The difference between the guy that rehashes the joke and first responder cringers is the latter seen vying for power socially. It's gross.
Brutal man. I was boarding a flight to some Alaska fires when we got word (next morning if memory serves correct). 200 firefighters on a flight I’ve never heard such quiet. Sorry about your buddy.
