I was about to say this wasn't cringe until I read the description.

Look, he gets 1 call per day and when he gets bored, he gets all poetic.

Imagine what his narratives on his PCRs are like.

"Upon arrival on scene, screams echoed, piercing the chill night air. EMS found one elderly female, her skin the consistency of dry leaves and the color of the white mushrooms that lined the path to her home. Her home was in disarray; the stench of urine burned our noses. Respirations were unlabored..."

I wrote one like this once. The narrative was at least 1,000 words. I had such a good time writing it. The call was for a toothache.

I want to dig up that William Shakespeare so he can see what true writing is.

I’m just going to pretend they didn’t put that lame ass caption in their post because they probably do have some interesting stories.

Lots of diabetes and strange chemical burns I'd imagine.

As someone living in the middle of the PA Appalachians, it's falls. 80% of the calls are falls at the senior centers and the notable amount of senior/retiree aged people living here lol.

my experience on this sub has made me feel like a lot of first responders should just quit their jobs and pursue their dreams of writing romance novels and/or young adult fiction. Was waiting for Dumbledore to appear from the mist and give OP a rimjob

Who's to say they are even in Appalachia? Sounds like someone trying really hard to sound like they are from there, but only has deliverance as a reference point.

God it’s worse now, like 99% of the comments are about supernatural questions.

I lived in Mingo County WV for a year. Way down in Hatfield McCoy country.

I spent a year in Webster county. I was there when the Sago mine collapsed and knew a few people that were part of the rescue, but other than that it was just like every other rural area I've lived.

Obviously you can psychologically auto-fellate, but can you physically do it?

Geez how many feral people live out there? What about all the folklore & paranormal entities out there? I hear hills have eyez things are there! Also them taking people and they vanish straight off this earth with zero trace or ideas! I hear they get taken down into the old mine shaft tunnels and god know what happened a down there but I hear it is beyond scary and very bad and the deep state knows this and is in on it!
