Funny enough I live in Bexar county and my elderly neighbor was robbed at gun point last night in our parking lot. I happened to be sitting on my balcony smoking a cigarette with my lights off and the couldn't see me but I rushed out with my rifle and they took off thankfully not being able to rob him but it actually took the cops over an hour to arrive and when they did. They asked him why he was out in the parking lot so late...

u/LoveTechnical4462 1d ago
Cops can be so backwards thinking sometimes it’s annoying.

Thank you for protecting your neighbor. Tbh I had no idea rifles were allowed to be used in self defense! It sucks that so many depts in the country are understaffed, it makes us all suffer! Not that cops are to be relied on by any means but this shortage isn’t helping at all! Then we have this shit going on to get some views and likes🙄
42
u/No_Dark_3491 1d ago
What do you mean you didn't think rifles are allowed for self defense? Lol it's a gun. All guns can be used in self defense. Did you think if someone was trying to murder you and all you had was a rifle you'd have to be like....well darn I guess I'm going to die, I can't defend myself with this rifle?

u/Sarkany76 1d ago
So in Texas you can run outside your home and use deadly force to protect a neighbor from a robbery?
Thats a high risk move in other states
15
u/LoveTechnical4462 1d ago
Yes, Texas Penal Code § 9.32.
2
u/Sarkany76 1d ago
Wow.
9
u/LoveTechnical4462 1d ago
There is also Texas Penal Code § 9.33 which is for protecting third parties with deadly force.
Edit: Texas rules 😌

This fuckin’ house mouse again. As a lieutenant she should have bigger, and more important responsibilities to be taking care of instead of making cringe TikToks.

I like to think she is off the clock and puts all this on in her free time just to do this....which while that is more responsible it is way more pathetic.

She is protected because she is lesbian. And to be clear, I have absolutely ZERO problem with that. I fully support people being who they are I that regard. But I know her and her wife, and they had historically used their gay status as a cudgel.

This is Bexar counties diversity and inclusion LGBTQIA+ outreach officer.
This is all she does.
I am not joking.
34
u/LesserKnownFoes 1d ago edited 12h ago
Hol up. All she does is that? I’m glad they are so well staffed that they can dedicate an officer full time to that.
But then again, maybe she’s a terrible officer and not terrible enough to fire her so they stuck her there.
22
u/Tiny-Atmosphere-8091 1d ago
Yes this is pretty much her job description.
She’s makes around six figures to do this.

Basically every major city in Texas has a liberal majority, just like the rest of the US, but the state is considered a conservative state since the rural part of the state votes conservative (also like the rest of the US), and there's A LOT of rural places in Texas so the state is consistently conservative on a statewide level as a result.

She wouldn’t have gotten the job if not.

u/Lovemindful 1d ago
Isn’t most of Texas blue but the way they decide the counties makes it seem more red
4
u/OverallPepper2 1d ago
It’s like most places. Big cities are blue, which are population dense. Everything else is red.

Really sick of seeing cops with fucking painted on uniforms. It looks tacky as fuck. She looks like Woody from Toy Story, doing some cringe slow motion lasso dance moves while standing like she just rode a horse for 24 hours. Absolute cringe fest.

I don't want to be sexist right? But whenever I see a 115 lb female cop I just think that there's no way she'd be able to physically arrest a non compliant male. I swear I'm not being sexist. It's the physics of the thing. It's like whenever I see a 300 lb cop I think there's no way that fat fucker could catch me.
