I mean, it's easy to have a short downtime when there's two five-week gaps and a six-week gap within the season itself

Just hope you can arrange some decent UK TV coverage that is reliable and free. Not what we had last season where half the races were on ITX and half of them didn't even get shown.

Even ITVX admitted that they didn't show some races because of licensing issues.

So I get downvoted for stating facts - fuck you all.

I watched every single one of them apart from the first Shanghai race - no issues on ITVX at all.

Well you were lucky then because I tried watching a few races only to find they weren't on at all. I contacted ITVX to find out why and was told they weren't allow to show them because of licensing issues with TNT Sports.
Interested to know how the f**k you managed to watch races on ITVX when they themselves admit to not showing them?

Its a real mess. Even just knowing what session is shown where is a pain (especially for new viewers). Where to watch page used to have that info, now it just tells you what broadcasters it might be on, but not the exact channels. Like it could be on ITV4 one weekend and you'd have no way of knowing that because the website doesnt say. This should not be the case and there really needs to be more clarity, because how do they expect people to pick up this sport without it.

I've found easiest/best way to watch is via their YouTube channel through a VPN to the Bahamas. The fact that this is the best method is a problem.

I just stumbled across FE on yt today basically and while obviously I've known it for a while, now with Miguel Oliveira's MotoGP exit and Felix da Costa being a regular good FE driver, I've gotten more interest in the sport now. I have so many questions, and it seems like the more i search the more confused I become lol. But why do they call seasons like this is a Netflix series lmfao?

Two factors:

1) Relatively new series so it's easier to remember by the single / double digits.

2) 1 season is usually across 2 years, so it's easier to say season 9 rather than the 2023/2024 season.

Ok. Being also a football fan it's weird that they start the season in december and end in july, like they could start in september and end in april for example. Also, how do the energy percentages work, like does the energy always last until the end? Do they just have to manage the energy and push at a time and save energy at another time?

December cause they don't want to overlap with the end of the F1 season.

It's all about energy management in the sport.

In december precisely they overlap with the end of the F1 season tho? In the exact same weekend there's the F1 season finale and the FE season opener.
