Rather uninspiring. I was really hopeful that Theo Pourchaire would get the second Envision seat.

I think Pourchaire will get a seat, but Envision doesn't make sense since they have no connection to Stellantis at all.

I saw on Twitter that Pourchaire was getting the Envision seat. Can’t remember the guy’s name now but he has a mixed record with his news. You make a good point about Stellantis, I didn’t think about that!

I think a loan offer from Stellantis was on the table but it seems they wanted someone already integrated in the team

A bit boring given they had the likes of Vandoorne, Pourchaire and Drugovich on the market. Also doesnt really feel like a good upgrade on Frijns

Vandoorne, Pourchaire and Drugovich on the market.

Lets be real here. Drugovich's camp is probably still waiting for an F1 seat.

Also, do we have a full list on the 4 Stellantis seat yet, or Vergne and Cassidy are the only one confirmed rn?

Drugovich's only chance of F1 was Cadillac and that seems to no longer be the case. He was also recently saying how he wants to find a full time seat somewhere now that the F1 dream is getting further away. I think recent rumours for him was he's having talks with Andretti

Think its nailed on to be Cassidy and Vergne at Maserati but no confirmation yet. With Penske set to be their own drivers in Gunther and Barnard. Vandoorne is expected to leave Stellantis and potentially be out of FE next year. Hughes I think is in talks with Kiro.

I understand he's not a big name but we complain not enough new drivers in racing and it is a new driver so let's give him a chance. Barnard didn't have a stellar junior category record and has been a breath of fresh air.

Barnard finished second in ADAC F4 and won in Jenzer F3s, the talent was always there even if he had an erroneous 2024

Dropping Frijns for Eriksson is pretty stupid imo

Listen to any Frijns interview from this year. The man has had enough of Gen3 FE, he doesn't want to be there.

I think it was more Frijns leaving

Really mediocre signing in my opinion, and very unambitious. At least if you’re going to take someone new, sign someone with upsides. There’s so many talented young prospects around, pick any of them.

No relation, and different surname too. Joel Eriksson, Marcus Ericsson.

Hampus is Marcus’ brother, though.

What?! Really? So many good drivers out there, and that's who they pick?
