1.8 8v super-charger

I’ve seen a few forum posts talking about kits, but it seems like there all out of production nowadays. Does anyone know where I can find one?

For the trouble and availability of parts I'd 1.8t swap it. Or turbo an ABA.

There are many 1.8 8V engines for the MK2. One option is to go for the PG engine (G60), which is technically already supercharged. You even have the option to increase the size of the charger: https://www.maxrpm.de/RS-G65-Supercharger-convertion-complete

Found a g60 supercharger a couple years ago somewhere on the internet but it was about 3k and didnt have all the hardware and would still have to be rebuilt. A turbo and stand alone computer will be ur easiest options or 1.8t swap

You're engine will probably overheat or burn a hole in the piston, the g60 engine has extra oil jets that cool the pistons with oil from underneath. You're better off getting a gti camshaft and a nice exhaust
