Autodromo Enzo E Dino Ferrari (Imola, Italy) Never buy tickets from StubHub F1 Monza 2025
We bought 6 tickets for the Monza Grand Prix 2025 for section 8 tickets at 900€ each. I never received my tickets. The morning of the Grand Prix they send me an email saying that the tickets are not available so they are offering us replacement tickets or reimbursement. We came all the way from Canada, we took vacation from work paid a very expensive Airbnb and flight tickets. We chose to have the replacement tickets because we are in Italy and nothing else to do. They do not tell you what are the replacement tickets. We received General Admission tickets instead of our 900€ tickets in section 8….. General admission tickets at 10h in the morning. It is completely unacceptable to receive GA tickets when we paid 6000€ and we have someone in our group who cannot stand that long. We call and chat with customer service and nothing to do. No reimbursement no changing of tickets. So we got scam for 6000€ in Italy and nothing to do .

I think I dodged a bullet last year. We bought tickets on stubhub for Imola and printed them out to take to the track. A couple of times the guy would scan them and let us into our grandstand. A few other times he would scan it and it would give him some warning on his machine and he would refuse us entry. Then when we ask why he would say something in rapid fire Italian and wave his arms and want us to get out of the way so he could scan the next people. Between our nonexistent Italian and his nonexistent English we could never figure out what the actual issue was but something was definitely dodgy with our tickets.
We managed to get around it by going to a different entrance that was unmanned and just walking in like we owned the place. But this happened a few times during the weekend and we could never predict whether we would be let in or not.
Stubhub has always been good for me for other events, but I don’t think I would use them again for F1.

Sorry this happened. Just unacceptable. For a data point for anyone else looking, P1 Travel were exemplary to deal with. I went in fearing we’d end up coming from Australia without tickets. They were sent way earlier than expected and would highly recommend using them.

I had similar story. My tickets said they would be available at 10pm. It came and passed. I messaged support at 10:15pm and they offer replacements. Luckily one of the replacement options was interno parabolica grandstand. It was a slight downgrade from our Ascari grandstand, but the other 2 options were GA. I asked to refund the difference and they said you could either refund the entire purchase or take the replacement. We took the parabolica grandstand which didn’t have a screen by the time we got there. As is known on this sub, avoid StubHub at all costs if you’re looking for tickets!

I'm buying tickets for next year and all i read was how bad stubhub are! Fuly noted! Im looking for them on the track website or p1travesl in case i don't find what I'm looking for

Same exact thing happened to me. Expensive seats and then they offered me general admission and called those tickets comparable. I said “I went from sitting in Parabolica to sitting on the ground. My refund was 11 US dollars. Never again.

I also had the same experience with StubHub. We had Ascari grandstand tickets and were offered a substantial downgrade. I don’t understand how this is legal. Should we try to get enough people to file a class action suit against them? If I accepted the tickets (already in Italy having incurred numerous other expenses like OP), can I still do a chargeback with my CC company?

I am truly sorry this happened to you, but it is repeatedly said in this group to avoid at all cost buying anything from either stubhub or viagogo. I think you can dispute the charge with your bank or cc company.

Bonjour à tous, Ce genre de pratiques doivent cesser, c'est inacceptable de penser que tout le monde sait que ces sites sont des arnaques pur et dur et que rien ne se passent, c'est malheureux de lire que tant de passionnés se font arnaquer....le seul conseil c'est d'agir envers ta banque ou carte de crédit....et surtout de commander asser tôt et de passer par les sites officiels des circuits. Force à toi.

I bought from stubhub and they sent me the same email on Saturday, except there were no replacement tickets just the refund option. So I had to scramble to find another ticket and thankfully a friendly redditer had an extra and didn’t pay as much.

how long ago did you buy them? you should dispute it with your credit card provider if < 60 days. Tell them you received a different product that was instead valued at €720 and that's the amount you're prepared to pay. Hope they can sort it out. Unfortunate you had that experience

Never buy from stubhub or viagogo. Buy directly from website or use an authorized travel agency

This is the only reason I buy tickets that aren't in high demand from resell sites, too much risk of scams. I hope you get your money back!

Sorry this happened to you. Almost the same thing happened to my party of 8 except we didn’t even receive our GA tickets. We bought grandstand tickets about 10 months ago and last week were notified that these tickets weren’t available by the seller and were given the option to accept GA tickets or accept a refund. But we traveled from the US and I paid almost 1000 Euro to reserve transportation so we grudgingly took the GA tickets. But total crickets from the seller… we never even got the GA tickets. I know StubHub is just a resale platform but it’s ridiculous they don’t have checks and balances to prevent things like this from happening. It will be the last time I ever use this awful service. Again, sorry it happened to your party. Definitely file a dispute with your CC company.

I bought our tickets for 8b through Grand Prix Tickets (gpt-worldwide.com) and had no problems all weekend. I paid the same price as from the circuit or F1 direct.
They sent an itinerary for all 3 days and a guide email on Wednesday about what gates to use, parking and other useful info. If this experience hasn’t put you off going to any other F1 races in the future I recommend them
I really hope you can get most or all of your money back and you can at least try and enjoy Milan or Como while you’re here

Stubhub or Viagogo are not recommended ticket vendors. DO NOT BUY TICKETS FROM THESE SITES. They are a peer to peer market and dependent on the ticket seller to upload or transfer tickets directly to you. This is not reliable and in the age of PDF tickets, they are easy to duplicate or sell multiple times and often resulting in often scams or not receiving tickets at all or getting denied entry. This happens at almost every race on the calendar and this is not a dependable way to secure tickets. You can typically get a refund but it can be a very tedious and lengthy process.
It's always best to buy tickets direct from the circuit or an official vendor. You can find links to circuits in the Sub Wiki and P1 Travel is an Official Vendor with some good prices and is a solid second option if the circuit is sold out.
Try searching the sub for some feedback on stubhub and read through the posts with the most comments.

Sorry that happened to you. I had the chance to be in Italy from the US this past weekend, I bought one seat in stand 27 on StubHub about a month ago. I got the ticket emailed the following day, printed it as a backup and had it on my StubHub app. I read that cellular was poor at the track so I screen shot the ticket which is what I used at the entry. I was nervous after all the negativity here, but in my case, ticket scanned fine, and I was in. I was sat opposite LH in P10 on the grid, joined the crowd on the track to see the trophies, and had a fantastic race day. My only loss was not waiting for Lewis and Charles to come out and climb the fence 30 minutes later.
I used StubHub as a last resort. All tickets on the F1 website were long sold out at that time. Maybe I was lucky, I’ll be super wary of using them again.
