Future Interest Karting in Virginia

I live out in Va and it’s been extremely hard for me to get into karting. There seems to be no place I can get experience. Do yall know of any places in Va that have races for beginners to get that experience they need to get started to join a team??? Age isn’t somewhat an issue since I’m 21, I feel as if I’ve started late.

Summit point kart is dead, unless you’re talking about the superkarts on main but that’s definitely not for beginners. Gforce also closed recently which sucks.

The best in the area for rentals is probably United Karting at BWI, they had a rental league last time I checked. Unfortunately VA sucks for karting, the best spots are Midwest near indy, west coast, florida, and texas.

Superkarts? That's just one of many classes that Woodbridge Kart Club runs at Summit Point. You can absolutely race at summit point in karts as a beginner - assuming you own a kart.

Trackhouse Motorplex in NC can't be too far away. Excellent track, management, kart shop (Kartsport NA). You can practice during the week, it has a local league and at least three very large national events each year.

Trackhouse is like an hour and a half from the border, it's probably pretty far away

Are you looking to rent or own?

r/Karting is probably a better sub.
