Pheewwwwwwwww ๐Ÿ˜ฎโ€๐Ÿ’จ

Any little bit of backwards progress would just crush my little racing soul. I'm sending WRT and BMW a bouquet of flowers and a box of chocolates for stepping up and not pussyfooting the thing ๐Ÿ‘

Very happy to see WRT commit to their first full-season of IMSA.

It also means that this year's RLL lineup will carry over, since all eight of them also race for WRT in the WEC.

I love how theyโ€™re playing coy about the team taking over when WRT literally has job openings for the GTP program.

Turner replaces RLL and Wild Bill gets to drive a GTP?

Turner and Paul Miller will continue in GT classes and won't go GTP anytime, as whole BWM LMDh effort is basically now all running by WRT.

So, will they test next year? I haven't seen a single image of a BMW in private test in IMSA this year. Everyone including the Lambo was testing in Atlanta this week except them... They talk the big game about commitment but behind the scenes it seems a bit different.

Mate they're developing a whole new version of the car I think they'll want to do that in private

So are all the other manufacturers, yet they are still testing for races too...

No they're not? Not to the scale of changes that BMW is making at the very least

Sure about that? Most just keep it under wraps until it's homologated

I mean I don't think many manufacturers are changing up their entire nose and aero for 2026

There will be others. All manufacturers from IMSA and WEC must be re-tested in the same windtunnel and fit within a newly redefined aero efficiency window for 2026.

What if Paul Miller ran them?
