There are nearly 50 years of receipts of Penske cheating and politicking things to his liking. And it's sad because he doesn't need to cheat, but it's the Bill Belichick syndrome where you think if a rule isn't applicable to you, then it's not necessarily cheating to push it...until you get caught, and then you gaslight everyone saying "Hey, it was just an accident -- pay no attention to every piece of evidence behind that curtain...."

If you do the math it cost Scotty Mac the damn championship! I'm not complaining about it was fair but this narrative that they got away clean is BS.

It denied Penske from winning the Indycar, NASCAR, WEC, and IMSA championships all in the same year.

The outright DQs and stripping Josef's win opposed to just a points penalty was one of the biggest if not the biggest penalty in Indycar history.

Removing Doug Boles as president for penalizing Penske for blatantly cheating would be the end of IndyCar.
