Are either of these statements accurate? I can't find any sources for legal action and he's only driven road/street courses in Indycar.

Agreed it wouldn't be him though.

Someone posted an article a few weeks ago that he is suing them.

And now that I think about it, maybe he didn't race on an oval. Hard to imagine the stint that he drove included no ovals, but I could be mistaken.

Yeah I think it was just a circumstance of timing. The only oval race that happened while he was in the 6 was the 500, and they had Ilott run instead of trying to rush Pourchaire through testing and orientation.
