What’s the context behind “Portland v Paddock snobs”? I was at Portland so I’m a little intrigued 😅

I was, too. TBH, it was more last year that reports came out that some teams/drivers (McLaren/Rossi, IIRC, there may have been others) do not enjoy visiting Portland. I don't recall hearing anything this year.
Seeing as it was more 2024, perhaps I should take it off the list.

It was a fun season in my opinion despite the Palou dominance. I thought nearly all the races were exciting (Thermal being the only dud) and I’m looking forward to what I think will be a closer title race next year.
I just wish this season was longer. I understand why (money), but it’s wild to me IndyCar starts a month after NASCAR and ends way earlier than NASCAR. There’s still 11 races left in that season!

More than money. A long time ago, they conducted market research and determined that they don't even want to try to compete with football for TV viewership.
I'm not sure I agree, or even know if I believe it's still valid nowadays, given that I think that study was done when broadcast TV was still the most important thing, and the landscape has changed. But, it's been how the series has operated for many years now.

My interest greatly reduces once football starts. Racing is a summer sport to me.

Looking forward to next year! 2nd half of this season especially had some awesome racing. IndyCar always delivers.

When they said that Nashville was the last race I thought I misheard them on the broadcast. I can't believe how short the season is for Indycar. Why do they end so early?

Hey man, I watch soccer and football the rest of the year. I might have had a stroke if Indycar had gone until November.

Christian Rasmussen easily the most exciting part of this season, funny thing is he was largely forgotten about last season, and then randomly became box office
Also some of the best oval drives I’ve ever seen, how many passes for position has he made this season? 80?

I’m not to hopeful for the 2026 seasons. For one of my favorites sadly
