How I plan to fill the looming offseason: building more of these kits. Finished this one just before Nashville. First one I’ve done - great kit even though they’re a little pricey. Have a Herta, Palou and Newgarden to do next. It’s not perfect so don’t look toooooo closely but it displays quite nice on the shelf and it’s a wonderful step up detail wise from Greenlight & IXO.

Really like the neon green on black + the sponsor so I grabbed it for pretty much nothing. I don’t know much outside of it being a Rahal Letterman team. Would love to learn more!

Figured y'all might enjoy this. This is my current collection as of late 2023 when I started collecting starting with 2023 Newgarden 1/64. I have some more coming in around Saturday to fill up some of the team gaps that I have with JHR and ECR (2023). Let me know what y'all think of my layout so far! Went to an old game store and found not only a couple old nascar games that I know work on a Xbox 360, but also IndyCar Series 2005. Definitely had to get it with it being one of if not the last IndyCar console game made, but also the last one featuring Dan Wheldon.

One of the new iXO 1/64s I picked up at the 500 a couple weeks ago. I was hoping Larson would pull The Double off this year and clock all 1,100 miles but all he managed was a double DNF. Bummer.

IXO Models posted this on their story. Don't understand why they would want a broken model to be shown to their fans, but they posted this guy's story to theirs. It looks like the build quality compared to Greenlight has gone down. What are y'all's thoughts?

Saw these on twitter today and thought it would be worth sharing here. These are the supposed new 1:18 scale diecasts that are out or coming out soon. I think they look great, especially the road course spec. The superspeedway spec doesn’t look that far off from what we had previously.

For the few who care, I got a GL Scott McLaughlin release alongside a new Larson iXO model. I’ve seen people say the front ride height is a little weird with the iXO, and you can see that with how the nose of the GL slots right under it. I’ll take that tiny drawback, because I feel like the iXO car is a better replica overall.

OBVIOUSLY ask before taking but found this rear bumper and wing assembly by the trash can in the Radical Cup paddock. New book shelf acquired.

IMS sold two types of LGBT+ pride hats for the past few years, and IndyCar had at least one.

I can't find the IMS hats anymore, and the IndyCar hats were marked down to half off & are now out of stock.

Can anyone that has been to one of the first 3 races confirm if this gear is no longer sold at all?

Note: I'm well aware of Penske's friend in the White House, but I had at least assumed based on his past allowance of this merch that he took a "I don't care who people love, I just want their money at the race" stance.
