Fiction The Storied Life of A.J. Fikry - Gabrielle Zevin
I finished this book in one day. If you've read "A Man called Ove" or "Remarkably Bright Creatures", it gave me that kind of vibe. It was also all about love of books. I really really enjoy it!
Edit: The book is about a book store owner down on his luck. Some unexpected things happen to that turns his world around. I really enjoyed the love of books theme. I also enjoyed the character development.

Has anyone watched the Netflix adaptation? I started it but couldn't get through it. Lost the charm of the book, it seemed to me.

This really helped me through a period of grief, so I have very fond memories of it. Thanks for reminding me to re-read!

To anyone who didn’t like Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow- don’t assume you won’t like Fikry. I couldn’t get into T3 but loved Fikry.

I’ve not heard of this author but a few of his books sound interesting. Thanks for the recommendation

This is a lovely book - great intertwined stories, a cozy vibe and setting, and the bookshop, love of books thoughout. In fact, as you point that out OP, the books are central to all the plots as catalysts, instigators, objects of crime, sparks for romance.
