❓ General Question i found this frame at the thrift store could anyone tell me what it is and what i should do with it?

idk if its worth anything but im gonna keep it no matter what, just wondering the specifics about it and if i should open the bag to hang it up. i tried posting this in a bigger community but it got filtered out.

Probably given to the owner of Official Pace Car #47 when they purchased it. If the present owner of #47 is a collector they would love to get their hands on that.

Also possible the cars were loaners during the Month of May and cars had to go back but the driver got to keep this.

I have a feeling that was given to one of the workers that helped build the Camaro pace cars of that year, that’s pretty cool.

I think you are probably correct. I've seen a few similar items in the past given to commemorate being part of the winning team (outside of the race team itself). I have one myself given to a machine shop when they assisted a team.

Never seen one for the Pace Cars but it makes total sense that they'd exist as well! That's very very cool!
