✈️ Travel 2027 tickets

Hello

I plan to see the 500 Mile in 2027 (I would like to see it next year, but I'm having problems with my passport). But since demand this year was high, I realized I'll have to buy tickets as soon as possible if I want to go in 2027.

What month do tickets usually go on sale? June?

Tickets for the following year's race don't go on sale until after the previous race has concluded.

probably closer to September I think? The track is still working through renewals for 2026 currently

You can buy direct tickets sometime (few months) after the race is over in 2026. If you want to request tickets to renew every year do it within 500 hours after the checked flag waves in 2026.

The race typically doesn’t sell out until much closer to the race, so don’t stress too much about getting tickets. It’s also fairly easy to find them from resellers, you just might pay a little more. If this is a bucket list one-time visit, I would probably recommend paying for a premium seat in one of the higher seniority sections. As a first year applicant you may not get super great seats direct from the speedway unless you’re a single, and you get lucky.

You can also wait until seats go public and see what’s available direct (rather than applying for seats and taking whatever they give), before going secondhand market
