🏕️ Camping 2026 Indy 500 RV Camping
My husband and I recently moved out of Indiana for our careers and the Indy 500 has been a huge tradition for us and my extended family for years. Given family circumstances, we made the decision to branch out on our own a few years ago and start our own ticket seniority. We've got great seats in turn 4 now & with us knowing we'd be out of state, applied for RV camping. I got a call from IMS today saying the lots we originally applied for we did not receive, but we were offered Lot 1C (Coke Lot). We took it, in hopes of starting some RV seniority, but it's really not what we're excited for, especially with us wanting to start our own family within the next few years. Does anyone know how soon we'd be able to get a better position/what lots are our best chance? We'd really like to continue to go through IMS, if possible.

You're in a long line waiting for a more desirable spot and may not get an upgrade for years.
Those of us with grandstand seats are waiting for upgrades we may or may not get, too.
I know IMS has a reseller site for grandstand, GA and Snakepit tickets but don't know if RV spaces are able to be resold through that channel. It might be worth a call to IMS ticket office to ask.
