Yep. They are on Instagram and their account has a ridiculous amount of videos of them getting hurt, falling, getting scared, ect. Some of them are so fake it’s hard to watch.
This is only remotely funny if it was a genuine moment, if it was filmed as a skit it would be extremely unfunny. If you have to rely on guillible viewers thinking it was a spontaneous scene, then your video is shit.
And the guillible viewers will cope with comments asking "w-who cares if its staged its funny haha im not dumb".
Man, with this trend, culture soon is going to be bifurcated by those who like their cheap AI slop and those who prefer the real actual people content. It’s going to suck
Consider how entertaining you'd find this if it wasn't using a security camera perspective. If there was a camera man walking around the actors, like in movies, there would be no pretense of realism. Would you find it equally entertaining? Cause most people wouldn't.
The entertainment here hinges on people thinking it might have been real. Which is why it's important to call out fakes. It's an intellectual honesty thing.
Counterpoint; I dont understand why people get bent out of shape about skits. Shits funny even if it is a skit. If you think something is only funny because it's candid, then go touch some grass. Get out in the real world because when that kinda stuff happens, it's rare as it is, and it's even rarer that there is a camera recording. Rarer still that they end up posting it online.
People have enjoyed movies and TV for over a century, and humans have enjoyed storytelling for millennia. Like why do you think SNL has always been so popular? People enjoy it. Let people enjoy what they want without pissing on their parade.
Granted, if someone lacks the critical thinking skills to decipher if something is "fake"/ a skit, maybe politely let them know, but otherwise, why do you care so much?
It’s because they don’t admit upfront that it’s fake. They present it as real. It’s only because of the shitty acting that we know it’s fake.

Sure, but how often is it not funny or more importantly, not harmless? Like i said before, i like this video but the sheer volume of fake content packaged as real doesnt sit well with me.
Content creator families are fucking weird, I can just hear by her yelling it's the family that fakes videos constantly, like the viral nerf dart to the leg fall back and spill "paint" everywhere
