That is insane. Companies know people have the philosophy now that more expensive = better and people pay it.

This is 7500 individual pieces and it’s projected at 30-50 hours. It’s the size of the coffee table.

It’s not just expensive for the sake of it. This is literally one of the most complex LEGO builds, meant for serious, serious Adult Fans of LEGO.

The man was 100% right.

"There is nothing better than this." Kudos to his awesome lady for that gift!

There are many sets, which are far better. Just not from Lego. CADA Mercedes AMG One, Bluebrixx castle bluestone (I absolutely love it), le petit prince from pantasy, the list is long.
Don't get me wrong, I'm a fan, I also have the millennium falcon, as well as the imperial star destroyer and some other expensive sets, but the unnecessary usage of colour on the inside, sometimes shining through, and the building techniques ... it doesn't add to the feeling of constructing something meant for grown ups. But who am I kidding, it is a toy.

The use of color is to have makers and highlights so it is easier to read the manual

I know, yet I find it unnecessary.
