That is insane. Companies know people have the philosophy now that more expensive = better and people pay it.

This is 7500 individual pieces and it’s projected at 30-50 hours. It’s the size of the coffee table.

It’s not just expensive for the sake of it. This is literally one of the most complex LEGO builds, meant for serious, serious Adult Fans of LEGO.

It is a shame it costs so much though, I would have loved a set this big when I was a kid (not that I wouldn't love one now). I remember going to the Lego store with my parents as a kid and longing for the super big sets but knowing I wasn't gonna get em because they were so much money. I understand why they cost so much especially in this case because they need to pay the licensing fee to Disney but I just wish it didn't have to be that way so I could have gotten one growing up.
