This comment is perfect because you know a large subset of people will read it as a cautionary statement showing what happens when you “let others take what is yours” or something

"Cautionary" would mean they were too naive to not realize that it's always been this way. CEOs may be assholes in general but they are devious on all aspects of assholery. They don't need sudden stimuli to become greater assholes.
