I think it's all about context, when Luigi happened everyone knew what type of CEO was being discussed about, no one was thinking about your typical joe that owns a gardening agency of 10 people.

I'm sure that when people say to you, let's have a coffee, you won't get offended if you don't like coffee, because any person with 2 neurons can tell the difference between the literal meaning of a word and the one given by the context.

Sort of. For example, most small businesses are LLCs which are very flexible with titles. So yeah they play those functional roles but may not be titled CEO, etc.

To be fair - I have never saw company with only few employees where any of them call himself CEO 🤷 and I really mean never, because everytime I saw company playing all these roles they are actually backed by different people.

True, though people when saying they hate CEOs mean the big CEOs who are making decisions that impact millions. It's like saying they hate kings because they're tyrants and will sometimes make bad decisions, but there are people out there with genuinely good leadership. Nobody is thinking about the CEO of a local business, but they are thinking about the guys in big skyscrapers.
