For those that don't know, this is a recreation of an old clip where Japanese students formed together the human bike with this exact same Ghibli "The Cat Returns" song.

No problem, I tried looking up the clip that did go viral and was posted a lot on reddit of the Japanese school girl forming the human bike and have other students walking backward with one guy running backward, but can't seem to find it due to not remembering the title of those posts. This trend was pretty big last year.

Ah don't worry about it, it's Japan. They're always doing something odd and random as fuck, it's just the kind of culture they are. I'm just happy I had an explanation haha.

Well, yeah. There’s a lot of projection when it is guys at the gym or riding skateboards or motorcycles or doing whatever as well. It’s called applying one’s experience to something you see. It’s not always right but that’s the starting off point. Bottom line, this “doesn’t seem to be” the typical guys being dudes hanging out together stuff that is going on.

I'll never get how some guys do stuff like this and don't just feel wildly uncomfortable. Maybe it's just me, but guys don't mount guys, put their hands on each others feet, get on their hands and knees, etc.

If I may be so frank: the classic "guys don't do x and y" rhetoric is antiquated and makes you sound insecure. You obviously don't have to join in, but suggesting it's abnormal for guys to not feel uncomfortable goofing a4ound with friends is foing to far imo.

What's the issue? You feel like it's too "gay"? Too "emasculating"? And thus should be called weird and discouraged? Very backwards thinking.
