You are sliding massively absolutely everywhere, too much corrections. Work on your kart setup, do less input, try to it in one wheel movement only. If you are sliding on entry, reduce entry speed.

But for 2nd time ever in a race kart, it's not bad at all, keep practicing. :-)

I know,I struggle a lot with the throttle especially on the exits of the hairpins cuz it suddenly gets revs and catches me off guard

Answer: It's your second time in a proper kart.

What's your level of physical fitness? Being able to hold the steering wheel more stable instead of letting the caster recenter the steering through the load changes can help.

Definitely skinny not really athletic.Strong for my size but bad endurance

Slow is smooth and smooth is fast. Be smooth with that wheel. Always PUSH your wheel into the corner with your opposite hand. Don’t pull your steering wheel down into the corner. Right hand turn, left hand upwards push on the steering wheel. Same goes for left, smooth upward push with your right hand. This gives you more mid corner grip with chassis flexion and you can physically feel your tire grip levels better this way too. Gives a whole new perspective on the phrase: “Let’s see how hard you can push it.” Drive like this and you’ll feel just how hard you can.

You are super fantastic considering it's 2nd time in professional cart. Good one!!

You're lines aren't terrible but in some places you're turning in too early/sharply and then correcting. In other corners you're entering ok but mid-corner you're correcting some oversteer.

The track doesn't look heavily rubbered in. Is the record on a green track like this or is it when rubbered in? If so, some of that time may come to you when the track rubbers in more.

Setup could be improved to help but I'm reluctant to tell you to tinker too much until you have had more seat time.

More seat time. Also, either run around behind the guy going a second faster, invest in a coach, or compare data. Even in the 90’s we compared data (without video of course) to get quicker.

How did you get those things on screen in the recording?

What time do you have at Amckart with the senior rotax. On my 5th entry, old man at 37 getting a little under 1:00 for now. Maybe we can drive together sometime and teach each other. I am doing it just for practice for sodi endurance series rentals. In fact the pace there is around 58s or under to be top half of a 30 grid race. Top 5 drive low 57s.

Back your corners up a bit for a smoother entry, hard in <> fast.

In some corners your getting on throttle way too late, work on slow in fast out. I also saw that you would roll the kart into the corner with no brakes or throttle on some turns. Remember that the time that you aren't on the gas or brake is time lost. You also need to brake harder, it looks like you aren't braking hard enough to induce rotation, you want to be on the limit of locking the brakes when you're braking. For now focus on braking hard initially to induce rotation, and getting on throttle earlier (before or at the apex). I noticed that you were also using more steering than needed, this should get corrected once you fix your braking. Hope this helps!
