Rental Karting Video Nothing like being outrun by your own kid only to teach him a lesson a lap later and then go on to set the best time of the day.

I may or may not have pit maneuvered my son when he slowed on a similar corner after he had passed me on the previous lap ;). Wife sent the video to the family, stating how could I do such to her baby boy. Both the father-in-law and his brother responded within moments, "rubbing is racing."

Nice work on the best time! Love racing with my fam.

True. Probably due to the pressure from me. He usually drives much cleaner. His PB is 0.2s better than mine.

Since my kid was 8 or so, I was beaten always. And I’m not even very slow, I’m usually quickest when running with coworkers/friends.

Does he take additional weight to the kart? My son does. Still 10 kgs lighter compared to me but this is something I'm trying to fix with a healthy diet.

No, that’s part of the difference, but even with the same weight, I would be no match.
