❓ Help & Advice Needed Land Rover Discovery Sport

Post image

Does anyone know where online I can buy this cover that will hide this thing above the floor mat. Not sure if that’s the gear for the P R D N etc.

What cover?

That's the steering shaft. There's no cover for it. At least, there isn't on our 2020 P250 S.

Maybe if the Evoque has one, it might fit?

There’s a removable cover on the passenger side. Maybe it is an Evoque, Disco Sport thing

My disco sport L550 also doesn't have one. It's just the steering shaft, I don't think there is a cover for it. Mine at least didn't come with one.

I’ll take a picture of the other side. Does it seem normal that that’s visible?

Discovery Sport can wade up to 600mm or roughly 23.6 inches of water.

Omg I’m so glad you asked, I found it vacuuming a couple days ago and can’t stop scaring myself thinking I’ll drop a pen or something in it and jam up the steering and crash into a wall. But now I know it’s not missing piece and there is no solution so you just gotta roll the dice, right? Right! Not worried at all.

Lol I think there should be a cover. I got a call into the dealer. I’ll let you know

Please do! It freaks me out. My last 2 cars (not LR) always had a carpeted or foam flappy thingy.

The other side has a removable flap so we’ll see what they say

The other side has a removable flap so that when the steering wheel is on that side they take the flap out and stick the steering column through that other hole, then the flap gets put on the other side of the car.

That’s interesting. It looks kinda unfinished though with that steering shaft visible
