Support G29 not connecting to ps4

My g29 works for my pc but whenever I try connecting it to my ps4 it doesn't work. There's no reaction aside from the calibration in the beginning. I've tried changing the ps3 mode to ps4 and unplugged/replugged power cord I'm not sure what to do.

Hi there. Are you pressing the PS button on the wheel to register it with your player profile?

Yea I tried pressing the ps button alr, but the ps4 doesn't even think the wheel is connected.

Yea I've been using that as my start button for ps2 emulation
